Iran’s response to Israeli aggression continues

TEHRAN, June 16 (YPA) – The Iranian response to the Israeli aggression continued on Sunday for the third consecutive day by launching waves of ballistic missiles and drones, targeting sensitive sites deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories as part of the operation “True Promise 3.”

In the fourth phase of the operation, Iranian missiles struck buildings in Haifa and Tel Aviv, causing fires in some areas. Reports also indicated that a new batch of missiles was launched from various locations in Iran toward Israeli entity.

Israeli Army Radio, citing a military source, reported that “approximately 50 missiles were launched toward Israel this afternoon.”

Separately, Israeli media reported that the Iranian attacks included targets such as the power station in Hadera and the residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Caesarea.

Israeli sources reported that air raid sirens sounded in the Golan Heights, the Galilee, and Haifa, while the Israeli Home Front Command announced that alerts had been activated in various parts of the interior and in settlements in the West Bank.

For his part, Al-Alam TV channel’s correspondent noted that Iranian missiles targeted Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Ashkelon, amid reports of massive explosions in Haifa, Jaffa, and Tiberias.

The Israeli military stated that air defense systems were working to intercept the recently launched Iranian missiles.
