Israeli warplanes launch airstrikes on Lebanon

BEIRUT, May 26 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation’s warplanes launched on Monday two airstrikes on Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley.

Local sources said the strikes hit the eastern mountain range of the town of Brital.

These raids coincided with a low-flying Israeli drone over Beirut’s southern suburbs, while other drones were heard extending from the Metn coast to the capital.

the Baalbek-Hermel region in eastern Lebanon was witnessed violent Israeli airstrikes last year during the military escalation between Hezbollah and the occupation, which ended with a ceasefire agreement.
