SANAA, May 22 (YPA) – A massive demonstration erupted in the Dutch city of Rotterdam to protest the docking of a ship coming from the Israeli occupation carrying F-35 fighter jet parts, while Brussels witnessed a pro-Palestinian protest in light of the escalating brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Pro-Palestine supporters gathered in front of the Rotterdam city hall, where they denounced the docking of a ship belonging to the Danish company “Maersk” in the city’s port, explaining that the ship was carrying F-35 fighter jet parts.
The participants in the demonstration protested against the Danish company and called for severing diplomatic relations with the occupation due to the genocidal war waged by “Israel” against the Palestinians in Gaza for the twentieth consecutive month.
The demonstrators highlighted a Dutch court ruling issued last year regarding the export of parts of the F-35 fighter to the Israeli occupation state due to its violation of international humanitarian law in Gaza.
In a related context, a number of pro-Palestine activists, including members of the European Parliament, demonstrated in the Belgian capital, Brussels, against the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
