RABAT, May 17 (YPA) – Thousands of Moroccans in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, demonstrated on Friday in solidarity with Gaza for the 76th consecutive week.
The demonstrators called for continued support for the Palestinian cause and an end to the genocide that Israeli occupation has been committing in the Gaza Strip for more than 19 months.
The Moroccan Association for the Support of the Nation’s Causes, a non-governmental organization, organized a series of demonstrations under the slogan “No Nakba after the Flood, No Normalization with Aggression.”
These activities spanned several cities, including Sidi Bennour, Abi Jaad, Kasbah Tadla, M’diq, Fez, and Meknes in the north; Kenitra in the west; Berkane and Oujda in the east; and Agadir in the center.
Participants in these protests called for continued support for the Palestinian cause and efforts to send aid to the Gaza Strip, which has been suffering from a tight Israeli blockade since March 2, leading to widespread famine among the Palestinian population.
During the protests, protesters chanted slogans calling for an end to the genocidal war in Gaza, while other chants emphasized the importance of supporting the resistance and strengthening adherence to the Palestinian cause.
