Protests outside Royal Courts of Justice in London demand stopping arming “Israel”

LONDON, May 17 (YPA) – London witnessed widespread protests coinciding with court hearings demanding a halt to British arms exports to the Israeli occupation.

Protesters accused the British government of complicity in genocide crimes in the Gaza Strip, asserting that military support violates international law and fuels the war.

The protesters gathered outside the Royal Courts of Justice at the call of human rights organizations as a case began to be heard accusing the government of complicity in international violations by exporting military components to Israel used in attacks on Gaza.

The lawsuit, filed by the Ajlan and Al-Haq organizations, highlights a legal loophole that allows the supply of parts for F-35 aircraft used in raids that have killed thousands of Palestinians, questioning Britain’s legal and moral responsibility.

The protesters demanded an immediate halt to arms exports, the opening of broader investigations, and accountability for those responsible, stressing that the continuation of the deals reflects international inaction regarding violations against Palestinians.
