Yemeni missile halts flights at Ben Gurion Airport

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, May 14 (YPA) – A missile launched from Yemen on Wednesday morning led to the suspension of operations at Ben Gurion Airport in central Israel.

Air raid sirens were heard in occupied Jerusalem and the Dead Sea region following reports of a missile launch from Yemen toward “Israel”, as reported by Israeli media.

According to the Israeli military, the air force detected a missile fired from Yemen and activated defense systems in an attempt to intercept it.

Channel 12 reported that all landings and takeoffs at Ben Gurion Airport were temporarily halted due to the missile threat.

According to Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, the intercepted missile from Yemen marks the third such incident in the past 24 hours.
