BEIRUT, May 13 (YPA) – The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, congratulated Yemen on its victory over the United States in support of Palestine.
This came in a speech he delivered on Monday on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the martyrdom of the leader Mustafa Badreddine.
Naim Qassem affirmed that the great Yemen, with its people, leadership, managed to force America to stop its aggression.
He stressed that attempts to weaken the resistance and isolate it from the Lebanese equation had failed in the past and would not succeed in the future, emphasizing that any attempt to isolate the resistance would be a deceptive illusion.
Qassem added that political and media pressures to bring the resistance down through pressure would not succeed where the Israeli military machine had failed.
He pointed out that the resistance, through its leadership and sacrifices, had succeeded over the past years in deterring the Israeli occupation and thwarting its plans to annex Lebanese territory and impose humiliating agreements.
Regarding the Palestinian issue, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah stressed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “will not be able to confiscate the rights of the Palestinian people, despite all the crimes and aggression,” praising the steadfastness of Gaza and the heroism of the resistance factions, which “exposed the Israeli entity and demonstrated its brutality to the world.”
Sheikh Qassem condemned the repeated Israeli attacks on Syria, which target Syrian sovereignty, affirming his confidence in the ability of the Syrian people to thwart Israeli objectives.
