STC factions kidnap citizen from Jaadna tribe in Aden

ADEN, May 04 (YPA) – Armed men believed to belong to the Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions kidnapped the citizen, Ali Muhammad Masoud Ashal Al-Jaadani, in the Mansoura area in the center of Aden, which is under the control of the coalition.

A statement issued by the Al-Jaadna tribe in Abyan confirmed that the kidnapping of the citizen Al-Jaadani yesterday, by an unknown party, without any legal justification, is a blatant violation of tribal customs and legal and human rights charters, indicating that the incident came after the kidnapping and forced disappearance of Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal Al-Jaadani by factions since June 2024 in Aden.

Al-Jaadna tribe held the STC factions in Aden fully responsible for the safety of their people, stressing that they would not stand idly by in the face of what she described as “systematic violations.”

In its statement, the tribe stressed the immediate release of the forcibly disappeared person, Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal, for nearly a year, despite repeated demonstrations and appeals, warning of what it described as “a series of political blackmail and kidnappings taking place in the city.”

Al-Jaadna’s statement called on all southern tribes and free personalities to show solidarity with their kidnapped sons, and to reject Aden turning into an arena for settling scores and the absence of law.
