SANAA, April 22 (YPA) – National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning forecast on Tuesday a heat-wave in desert areas, with temperatures ranging between 36 and 39 degrees Celsius.
The center indicated in its weather forecast for the next 24 hours that the mountainous highlands will be clear to partly cloudy with the light to moderate rain falling on Saada, Hajjah, Al Mahweet, Rayma, Dhamar, and the highlands of the Tihama plain.
According to the center, the weather in the coastal areas will be clear to partly cloudy and warm, with moderate to active winds on the south of the west coast and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, with a maximum speed of 28 knots.
It warned citizens in desert areas and coastal plains, particularly in the eastern areas, of the potential for warm weather, urging them to avoid direct exposure to the sunshine.
