UKMTO reports incident off Yemen coast

WORLD, April, 16 (YPA) – The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has reported an incident off the coast of Yemen.

“We received a report of an incident 100 nautical miles east of the Yemeni city of Aden,” the agency said in a brief statement.

International media outlets have circulated reports indicating that a vessel was attacked by naval boats off the eastern coast of Aden.

The UKMTO frequently reports maritime incidents, many of which are related to naval operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
