Son of southern prominent leader assassinated in Abyan

ABYAN, March 27 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen, on Wednesday, assassinated the son of a prominent southern leader in Abyan governorate, which is under the control of the UAE-funded Transitional Council factions in southern Yemen.

Informed local sources reported that unidentified gunmen shot “Nabil,” the son of the prominent leader Haidara al-Jahma, in Lawdar district, killing him instantly then they fled to an unknown destination.

Abyan districts have been witnessing unprecedented security chaos following the coalition’s control of the governorate in early 2016.
