HADRAMOUT, March 27 (YPA) – Head of the Hadramout Tribal Alliance, Amrou bin Habrish, appeared next to the commander of the Saudi-led coalition forces, Fahd bin Hamad Al-Salman, in his first response following his ouster by the UAE.
Bin Habrish said, in a post on the X platform on Tuesday, that he met with bin Hamad Al-Salman in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to discuss the situation on the ground in general and the importance of strengthening security in Hadramout as part of their efforts to support and stabilize Yemen.
He added that the importance of enhancing joint action to promote natural stability was discussed, by giving the province its unique characteristics and the nature of its people, who yearn for peace and the building of a state of law.
Bin Habrish called on the coalition leadership to empower the people of Hadramout to assume responsibility for their own security and defense, as this would contribute to the security and stability of the region as a whole.
This came after Bin Habrish met last week with Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman in Jeddah.
Previously, the UAE then spent nearly 80 million dirhams on tribal sheikhs to oust Bin Habrish, the alliance’s leader, in the Al-Ulayb area of Ghayl Bawazir of the province.
