SANAA, March 17 (YPA) – A Syrian citizen was killed, on Monday, due to the explosion of war remnants scattered across vast areas of Syria.
This brings the death toll from war remnants in Syria since the beginning of the year to 557, including both dead and wounded.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that a citizen was killed as a result of the explosion of a landmine left over from the war in Kafranbel city in the southern Idlib countryside.
According to the Observatory’s documentation, the number of Syrian civilians killed since the beginning of this year, in various Syrian governorates, as a result of the explosion of objects left over from the Syrian war, has reached 276 people, including 56 children and 15 women, in addition to 281 others being injured, including 120 children and 3 women.
