DAMASCUS, March 17 (YPA) – A number of violent explosions rocked on Monday several Quarters in Aleppo city, near the Ashrafieh neighborhood, sparking panic among residents.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said in a statement that the explosions were heard inside military and war remnants inside the Tariq ibn Ziyad barracks, causing flames and successive explosions as the ammunition burned. No details has yet been received about any casualties.
Last week, 16 civilians, including children and women, were killed in the southern Al-Raml Al-Janoubi neighborhood of Latakia after new bodies were recovered from under the rubble of a residential building that collapsed as a result of exploding a missile from the war’s remnants inside a hardware store on the ground floor.
