Once again, Yemeni forces strike aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman in retaliation for murderous airstrikes
SANAA, March 17 (YPA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Monday that they had targeted the American aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman in the northern Red Sea for the second time within 24 hours.
The operation involved the use of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones during an engagement that lasted several hours.
In a statement for the spokesman, brigadier general Yahya Sarie, the armed forces confirmed that the attack successfully thwarted a hostile operation that the enemy was preparing to launch against Yemen.
“As a result of the missile and drone strikes, enemy fighter jets were forced to return to their point of origin without achieving their objectives,” Sarie added.
The Armed Forces emphasized their commitment to confronting what they described as “criminal aggression” and vowed to respond to escalation with escalation.
They reiterated their determination to implement the directives of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik, regarding further escalation options if the aggression against Yemen continues.
