“Israeli” occupation forces step up air, land aggression against Syria

DAMASCUS, Mar. 11 (YPA) – Southern Syria witnessed on Tuesday a new Zionist aggression, as an Israeli warplane targeted the Khalkhala military airport in the northern countryside of Sweida this evening, which led to smoke rising without accurate information about the losses.

Later, the Israeli air force launched strikes on the Saasaa area in the southern countryside of Damascus, targeting military sites of the 10th Division in Saasaa and the 5th and 9th Divisions in the countryside of Daraa, amid the absence of confirmed details.

At the same time, Israeli forces penetrated with vehicles into the village of Maariyah in the Yarmouk Basin, west of Daraa, without information about the results of the move.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Israeli forces have carried out 26 attacks since the beginning of the year, including 24 airstrikes and two ground operations, which resulted in the destruction or damage of 25 targets, including weapons depots and military headquarters.
