WEST BANK, March 10 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of raids and arrests in the West Bank, during which at least 21 Palestinian citizens were arrested.
Local sources told the Palestinian Safa news agency that the Israeli occupation forces carried out raids in Hebron city, arresting several released prisoners.
In the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, the occupation forces raided several homes, searched them, and tampered with their contents.
They arrested a number of citizens and confiscated a vehicle belonging to one of the residents.
The occupation forces also arrested a released prisoner from the village of Dar Salah, east of Bethlehem, and another from the town of Janata, after raiding and searching their homes.
The occupation forces also arrested two teenagers during a raid in Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah.
Moreover, the occupation forces stormed the town of Yamoun west of Jenin, arresting a released prisoner and a young man after raiding their homes.
In the Kafr Saba neighborhood of Qalqilya, Israeli forces arrested the wife of prisoner Ahmed Salmi after raiding their home, while the mother of the prisoner was transferred to the hospital as a result. They also arrested a young man from his home.
Earlier, the occupation forces arrested a citizen from Qalqilya city while passing through the Deir Sharaf checkpoint west of Nablus.
They also arrested a citizen after raiding his home in the Zawata area west of Nablus, allegedly to pressure his son to surrender.
