Israeli occupation shuts Karam Abu Salem crossing for sixth consecutive day

GAZA, March 07 (YPA) -The Israeli occupation forces continue to close the Karam Abu Salem crossing in the southeastern Gaza Strip and prevent the entry of humanitarian aid and goods into the Gaza Strip for the sixth consecutive day.

According to the Palestinian news agency “Safa,” the occupation forces are still closing the Karam Abu Salem crossing and prevent the entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza for the sixth day in a row.

The closure of the crossing comes after a decision by the head of the occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, to halt all goods and supplies to the Gaza Strip starting last Sunday.

The first six-week phase of the ceasefire agreement, which took effect on Jan. 19, officially ended at midnight on Saturday. However, Israel has not agreed to move forward to the second phase of the deal to bring an end to the war in Gaza.
