Israeli occupation continues its siege Jenin Hospital for 32nd day

WEST BANK, Feb. 21 (YPA) -Israeli occupation forces continue to besiege Jenin Governmental Hospital, amid an escalation of the widespread aggression on the city and its camp, now in its 32nd day

According to Palestinian sources, dozens of military vehicles are stationed around Jenin Hospital, blocking access to the nearby Al-Amal Hospital while conducting identity checks and interrogating civilians as they move around the area.

Hospitals in the city are also facing severe shortages of water, as Israeli forces have targeted and destroyed water supply lines, according to local and medical sources.

Around 35 percent of the city’s residents are currently without access to water, exacerbating the already dire situation.

Since the early days of the aggression, the occupation forces have turned buildings near Jenin camp into military barracks, while continuing to send military reinforcements and bulldozers to the Al-Bassatin neighborhood in Jenin.
The occupation forces have brought in fuel tankers, water tanks, and small fortified rooms for use in internal military communications among soldiers.

Furthermore, reports indicate that approximately 3,000 families from the Jenin refugee camp have been forcibly displaced, with over 120 homes destroyed completely.

The infrastructure of the city has suffered extensive damage as a result of the ongoing attacks.

Additionally, the occupation forces arrested a child from the town of Al-Yamun while he was outside his home, and last night, they raided the town of Ya’bad, south of Jenin.
