Mass rallies across Yemen reaffirm support for Palestine
SANAA, Feb. 14 (YPA) – Millions of the Yemeni people took to the streets in the capital, Sana’a and other Yemeni provinces in mass rallies on Friday, reiterating their unflinching stance in support of the people of Palestine, their legitimate cause as well as the Axis of Resistance.
They held demonstrations in various districts, expressing solidarity with Palestinians and condemning US president’s plan to take over Gaza and relocate Palestinians to neighboring countries.
The demonstrators waved flags of Palestine and Yemen, while chanting slogans in denunciation of Donald Trump’s Gaza displacement scheme.
They also chanted slogans in support of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement and other forces of the Axis of Resistance.
A statement was issued during the rallies, reiterating Yemen’s unflinching stance in support of the people of Palestine to confront all conspiracies and challenges, no matter how great they are.
It emphasized that the Yemeni people will not abandon the Palestinian people, no matter the cost.
“We say to the criminal tyrant Trump, your arrogant remarks have only increased our certainty and knowledge of the criminal reality of America, and have only strengthened our confidence in the choice we have made,” the statement read.
It added: “To the tyrant Trump and his cohorts, we and the free people of our nation will be the hell that will burn you and destroy all your plans and conspiracies.”
The statement addressed the Arab nations, especially those neighboring Palestine, stating that the American-Zionist displacement plan is part of the “Greater Israel” project that targets you before anyone else.
It added: “If you reject the displacement plan, you will protect yourselves from evil, but if you engage in it, you will be complicit in an unparalleled crime.”
