GAZA, Feb. 10 (YPA) – The Hamas Movement has held Israeli occupation prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu responsible for the Palestinian resistance’s decision to postpone the handover of Israeli captives who were scheduled for release on Saturday, February 15.
In a press release, Hamas spokesman Abdul Latif Al-Qanuo, said that the Israeli occupation government had violated the ceasefire agreement in the past weeks and prevented the entry of aid, fuel and tents.
“The occupation is waging a new war on the population of Gaza through barring the entry of aid and continuing its siege on the Strip,” Al-Qanuo added,
The spokesman called on the mediators to pressure the Israeli government to abide by the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
He pointed out that his Movement had appealed to the mediators a week ago to oblige the Israelis to honor what was agreed upon in the first phase of the agreement.
He stressed that Hamas remains committed to the ceasefire agreement as long as the Israelis abide by its terms.
