TEHRAN, Feb. 10 (YPA) – Tehran and all over the Islamic Republic witnessed on Monday morning mass rallies on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
Crowds gathered in Azadi Square in Tehran and in more than 1,400 districts, cities and 35,000 villages, where the events opened with the national anthem.
In Tehran, as in other regions, the crowds headed towards the Islamic Revolution Street and reached Azadi Square in enthusiastic rallies.
During the rallies, the participants raised Iranian flags and pictures of martyrs, along with the flags of Yemen, Hezbollah, Palestine, the Popular Mobilization Forces, and the resistance factions.
One of the prominent scenes that are repeated annually during the march is the coffins that symbolize the Zionist occupation entity and its leaders, as the Iranian people express their rejection of Israel’s crimes in Gaza.
On February 10, 1979, the Iranian Islamic Revolution led by Imam Khomeini triumphed over one of the most severe dictatorial regimes supported by the United States.
This year, the 46th anniversary of the victory of the revolution coincides with the escalation of threats from the United States and Israeli occupation entity and the tightening of the economic blockade on Iran.
