GAZA, Feb. 10 (YPA) – The head of the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, Khalil al-Hayya, said on Monday that “the Al-Aqsa Flood operation started to be an introduction to the liberation of Palestine, the end of the aggression, and the departure of the occupation.”
On the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, and during his participation in the events held in Tehran, al-Hayya emphasized that Iran has always supported the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people’s right to resist, expressing his confidence that this support will continue until liberation and reaching Al-Quds.
Al-Hayya stressed the importance of strengthening unity and solidarity to confront the occupation, noting that Al-Quds remains the central issue.
He explained that Iranian support for Gaza, including its commitment to its honest promise, confirms that the time has come to put an end to Israeli aggression.
Hamas’ head indicated that the victory of the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli aggression came as a result of their unity and belief in their just cause.
In response to Trump and Netanyahu’s statements about displacing the people of Gaza, Al-Hayya stressed the Palestinians’ rejection of these projects and their adherence to their land, considering that the American and Western plans are destined to disappear.
Al-Hayya thanked Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran, and everyone who supported Gaza during the “Al-Aqsa Flood.”. He added that this stage united the blood of martyrs from different countries, which enhances solidarity among the peoples of the region.
At the end of his speech, he pledged to be loyal to everyone who stood by the Palestinian cause, stressing that the Palestinian people will not forget the positions of support and will not forgive those who failed to support them.
