WEST BANK, Feb. 09 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces have forced about 30,000 Palestinians to flee the northern West Bank during an ongoing attack for two weeks.
The governor of Jenin city, Mohammed Abu al-Rab, reported that 16,000 people have been displaced from the city’s camp since the start of Operation “Iron Wall” 17 days ago.
The governor of Tulkarm, Abdullah Kamil, confirmed that 10,500 Palestinians were forcibly displaced from Tulkarm camp, leaving only 4,000 families.
In turn, the governor of Tubas and the northern Jordan Valley, Ahmed al-Asaad, stated that the Israeli aggression forced 4,000 Palestinians to flee the town of Tamoun.
In addition, the Israeli occupation forces expanded their aggression today, Sunday, on Tulkarm and Nour Shams camp, which led to massive destruction and a stifling siege that forced residents to leave amid difficult humanitarian conditions.
