GAZA, Sept. 12 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued to violate the Gaza ceasefire on Saturday, opening fire and shelling several areas across the Gaza Strip, while Israeli gunboats fired on and seized Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of Gaza City.
Palestinian sources reported that Israeli artillery shelled eastern and northeastern parts of Gaza City.
In northern Gaza, Israeli military vehicles stationed north of Al-Atatrah opened heavy fire, while Israeli artillery shelled the eastern parts of Jabalia refugee camp.
In central Gaza, Israeli artillery also shelled areas northeast of Bureij refugee camp.
In southern Gaza, Israeli artillery positioned east of Khan Younis shelled western parts of Rafah, amid heavy gunfire in the area.
Israeli gunboats also opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of Khan Younis.
Since the Gaza ceasefire agreement went into effect on October 11, 2025, “Israel” has killed 1,359 Palestinians and injured 4,517 others. The bodies of 831 slain Palestinians have been recovered during the same period.
