6 Lebanese killed, 2 others injured in Israeli air strikes at eastern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Feb. 08 (YPA) – Six Lebanese were killed and two others were injured, on Saturday, as a result of Israeli raids which targeted areas in the eastern mountains of Lebanon.

The Lebanese News Agency confirmed that the death toll from the Israeli air force bombing of the “Shaara” area, adjacent to the town of Janta, on the eastern slopes of the Lebanon Mountains, rose to six martyrs and two wounded.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire in Lebanon, and launched dozens of air strikes that resulted in civilian deaths and injuries.
