Report: 2 civilians killed in Saudi-led air, ground attacks over 24 hours
SANAA, July 23 (YPA) – Two civilians were killed, including a woman, and two woman injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched a series of airstrikes and ground attacks on several areas of Yemen’s provinces during the past 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Monday.
- In Saada province:
A woman was killed and another injured in an airstrike in an airstrike hit a home in Ghafera area of Dhaher district.
An airstrike was waged on the police military camp in the center of the province.
An airstrike on a water project in Safraa district.
Meanwhile, a woman was injured and civilians’ properties were damaged in Saudi artillery and missile shelling at residential areas of Munabeh border district.
Missile and artillery shells were fired toward residential areas of Razih and Baqem districts.
- In Hodeidah province:
Four airstrikes hit Alaei area of Luhaia district.
An airstrikes was launched on Kamaran island.
An airstrike on Duraihimi district.
A series of airstrikes were waged on Tuhaita and Zabid districts.
- In Dhamar province:
Four airstrikes hit the Technical Institute in Thi-Sahr of Ans district.
- In Dhalea province:
Artillery shelling targeted civilians’ homes in Ramh village in Qataba district.
Saudi-backed militiamen prevented the Red Crescent Society from removing the body of the tanker driver who targeted him.
