Abyan tribes warn STC factions of dire consequences

ABYAN, Jan. 11 (YPA) – Al-Jaadna tribe in Abyan province, south of Yemen, announced its on Saturday firm rejection of the presence of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions in the province’s districts.

Several sheikhs of the Jaadna tribes rejected in a statement any military establishment by the STC’s factions in their lands in the Lahmar area, stressing that their area did not suffer from any conflicts or security problems that require bringing elements.

The statement explained that the tribe’s lands enjoy security and stability, warning of the consequences of ignoring its demands or dragging factions into its areas without justification.

It calling on the leaders of the factions to reveal the fate of the Lieutenant Colonel “Ali Ashal Al-Jaadani”, who has been hidden in secret prisons affiliated with the STC since last June.
