Zionist soldier killed in northern Gaza

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jan. 08(YPA) -The Israeli army has acknowledged the death of one of its soldiers in battles in the northern Gaza Strip, bringing number of its casualties in the past 24 hours to three, including an officer.

In a statement released on Tuesday evening, the Israeli occupation army said that  the slain soldier was named as Staff Sgt. Ido Samiach, 20, a team sergeant in the Nahal Brigade’s reconnaissance unit, from Ganei Tikva, killed in northern Gaza.

The statement did not provide details on the circumstances of the battle in which the soldier was killed.

This is the third military personnel the Israeli occupation army has announced  his death in northern Gaza during the past 24 hours.

The occupation army had previously reported that two other soldiers — Cpt. Eitan Israel Shiknazi, 24, and Maj. Dvir Zion Revah, 28 — were killed during fighting in northern Gaza’s Beit Hanoun, in northern Gaza.
