ADEN, Dec. 18 (YPA)- The city of Aden and the other Yemeni southern provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition have been witnessing a growing living crisis that threatens a massive popular uprising in the coming days.
The economic crisis and collapse of the Yemeni riyal have led to increased living conditions, with rising food prices and employee salary interruptions.
The local currency collapse in Aden and southern regions is a direct blow to the national economy, as the pro-coalition government printed five trillion and 320 billion riyals without cash cover, without implementing any economic solutions.
As a result, citizens in the coalition-controlled regions face increasing poverty, homelessness, and food shortages, with security chaos doubling their suffering.
This economic crisis is a complex problem that threatens to ignite demonstrations in a way that has never been seen before in areas controlled by the coalition.
The living crisis was not the main focus of the current scene in Aden and the rest of the southern and eastern provinces of Yemen, but it was accompanied by various collapses in electricity, water, and health services.
The government and coalition countries ignore the demands of employees and citizens, disregarding their suffering in a systematic policy of starvation to maintain their interests in southern Yemen.
