UAE factions detain tankers in entrance of Ataq in Shabwa for second week

SHABWA, Dec. 08 (YPA) – Emirati factions continue to detain dozens of trucks and tankers for the second week in Shabwa governorate, southeast of Yemen.

Media sources reported that the “Shabwa Defense” elements continue to prevent tankers and trucks from entering the city of Ataq, the center of the governorate, under directives issued by the governor of Shabwa, Awad Al-Wazir, who resides in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.

The sources did not mention the reasons for detaining the tankers, which caused great damage to the drivers and traders, amid their demands to release their trucks and compensate them for the losses they incurred.
