Iran confirms its firm stance in respecting Syria’s unity, sovereignty

TEHRAN, Dec. 08 (YPA) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry reiterated its firm and fundamental stance in respecting Syria’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

This came in the first official statement following the fall of President Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria.

The ministry added in its statement that Iran would spare no effort to help achieve security and stability in Syria, as it is an influential country in the region.
