ADEN, Nov. 27 (YPA) – Al-Hirak Al-Janoubi (Southern Movement) threatened the coalition-affiliated government with an angry uprising in the city of Aden, south of Yemen.
Abdulrahman Al-Wali, the politician in the movement and academic at Aden University, said on X that the uprising would erupt against the systematic starvation policy that target the city’s residents and the rest of the citizens in the southern provinces.
He added that the employees have been without a salary for more than two months, without talking about any relief for their suffering.
Al-Wali accused America of neglecting the southern issue by arranging a meeting of what he called the “Afash Council” for a number of members of the House of Representatives loyal to the coalition in Aden.
He had previously tweeted that “there is a flood coming to the south.”
