Sanaa government announces its position on ceasefire agreement in Lebanon

SANAA, Nov. 27 (YPA) – The Sanaa government praised on Wednesday the steadfastness of the Lebanese people and Hezbollah in the face of the brutal Israeli-American aggression and their unwavering determination.

“The heroic determination of the Lebanese people and Hezbollah has once again thwarted the malicious plans of the enemy and achieved a new victory for the independence, sovereignty, and security of Lebanon,” the government said in a statement commenting on the entry into force of the ceasefire in Lebanon.

The Sanaa government praised the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon for its commitment to the Palestinian cause and skillful navigation of the region’s political scene.

It expressed its confidence in the resistance’s leadership and its ability to confront Israeli treachery, noting that the haste of displaced people returning to their cities and villages in the south demonstrates the resistance of the Lebanese people, who refused to surrender.

The statement stated, “The Republic of Yemen, actively participating in the battle for Palestinian conquest and jihad, has consistently supported the Lebanese people and the Islamic resistance, believing in the unity of arenas, and the region’s fate is closely linked to the fate of Palestine and the liberation of Al-Quds.”

The Yemeni government affirmed that “jihad against the Zionist enemy is a sacred duty” and that it would continue to support all efforts to resist the Zionist aggression and occupation.
