The HHGUE, Nov. 21 (YPA) – The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants against both the Prime Minister of the Israeli entity, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the former Minister of War, Yoav Galant, on charges of committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
These warrants came after investigations showed reasonable grounds to believe that they were responsible for violations against civilians in the Gaza Strip, according to a statement by the court.
This decision came also at a time when international calls are increasing to hold accountable all parties involved in the hostilities that led to the martyrdom of many civilians in the Strip.
The ICC statement said that “war crimes include murder, persecution and other inhumane acts,” and accused both Netanyahu and Galant of using starvation as a weapon of war.
The statement added that Israel’s entity acceptance of the court’s jurisdiction is not necessary.
