US military plane carrying experts arrives in Ataq Airport

SHABWA, Nov. 18 (YPA) – Several American experts arrived on a military plane at Ataq Airport, the provincial capital of Shabwa, on Monday.

Local sources familiar with the matter said that the plane landed the Sunday evening in the airport coinciding with intensive drone flights in the city’s sky.
The sources suggested that the US moves came as part of the escalation operation directed against Sanaa-based armed forces.

The sources pointed out that the concerned authorities tried to spread information that the plane belonging to international organizations, indicating that civil air navigation sites showed that Ataq Airport “AXK” did not receive any civil aircraft.

The US forces have been taking Ataq Airport, Balhaf Gas Facility, and Al-Alam Camp in Jardan district as military bases in the oil-rich Shabwa.
