BEIRUT, Nov. 15 (YPA) – 2024 – The Israeli occupation forces continued their aggressive assault on Lebanon for the 54th consecutive day, committing further massacres in a series of heavy airstrikes targeting various areas, particularly in the Bekaa Valley.
This Friday morning, Ghobeiry in Beirut’s southern suburbs was hit by Israeli airstrikes following an evacuation order issued by the occupation army spokesperson, Avichay Adraee.
On Thursday night, 14 people were killed in an initial toll following an Israeli airstrike that targeted the Civil Defense center in Douris, Baalbek.
Lebanese sources confirmed that Bilal Raad, the head of the Civil Defense in Baalbek, was martyred in the attack on his center.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported the martyrdom of 4 civilians and the injury of 13 others in Israeli airstrikes on several towns in the Bekaa region.

At least six people, including four paramedics, have been killed in an Israeli strike on the town of Arabsalim, in southern Lebanon, the ministry of health said.
The Israeli airstrike resulted in the destruction of vehicles and equipment at the regional Civil Defense center, which was in the vicinity of the attack, according to the National News Agency.
Additionally, Israeli aircraft carried out the most intense strike since the beginning of the war on Nabatieh, destroying a large commercial center and its surroundings in the city.
The Lebanese news agency reported that four people were martyred on Thursday evening due to an Israeli airstrike on a house in the town of Al-Bayad in the Tyre district.
The occupation army also conducted airstrikes on the towns of Anqoun and Arab Salim in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese news agency reported the deaths of two individuals in the strike on the town of Qana in Tyre, where Civil Defense teams from the Islamic Scout Association were able to retrieve their bodies.
As of Thursday, the death toll from Israeli aggression on Lebanon since the beginning of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on Oct. 8, 2023, has reached 3,386, while injuries went up to 14,417.
