Southern politician: Aden, other southern provinces are facing worst days
ADEN, Nov. 15 (YP) – A politician in the “Southern Movement” has confirmed that Aden and other southern Yemen provinces are facing their worst days of famine and economic collapse since the Saudi-led coalition took control in mid-2015.
Abdulrahman Al-Wali, an academic at the University of Aden, compared the situation in Aden and the southern provinces to similar events in Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Sudan.
He compared the use of fear, hunger, money, weapons, and dissuading media to the situation in the region.
Al-Wali also noted that the forces of the “First Military Region” affiliated with the Islah Party are “strong and supported without fear of any southern movement.”
