ABYAN, Nov. 14 (YPA) – Several members of the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) stormed and stopped the primary courts in Abyan province.
Judge Mohammed Hussein Al-Nakhbi, the head of the Jaar court, affirmed that the suspension of judicial activity came after a series of attacks on judges by the STC.
Meanwhile, the Public Prosecutor, Madin Hamoud, was threatened with death by the “Security Belt” elements affiliated with the STC, led by Ali Salem Al-Husseini, during the past week.
According to the Public Prosecutor, Al-Husseini is accused, along with another person, of premeditated murder in Criminal Case No. “18” for 2021, and they were presented as fugitives from justice.
These events shed light on the deterioration of the judicial security situation in Aden and the rest of the southern provinces, which are witnessing unprecedented security chaos in the history.
