SHABWA, Oct. 27 (YPA) – Yemeni employees of the oil company “OMV” operating in Shabwa province received notices urging them to take compulsory leave from working for the company.
The company’s notices received by a number of company employees yesterday confirmed that they were on compulsory leave, indicating that “the door is still open for them to submit their voluntary resignation from work.”
This came after 33 Yemeni employees were subsequently dismissed, despite the insistence of the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition on returning employees who had been dismissed or laid off to their jobs while they were on compulsory leave.
