OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Oct. 22 (YPA) – A Palestinian young man was killed by Israeli occupation forces on Monday evening in Hebron, while settler incursions into Islamic shrines in Salfit, West Bank, have escalated.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the young man, Ahmad Nawaf al-Awawdeh, was shot in the head by the occupation forces at Bab al-Zawiya in Hebron.
The ministry stated that he sustained a critical head injury while in the Bab al-Zawiya area and was transported to Hebron Government Hospital for treatment.
Additionally, a group of Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, stormed the town of Kifl Hares, located northwest of Salfit in the West Bank.
Local sources reported that dozens of colonists broke into the town of Kifl Haris to perform Talmudic rituals at Islamic holy sites.
The occupation forces intensified their military presence in the area to secure the colonists during their incursion.
