Al-Qassam detonates Israeli personnel carrier, Merkava in Gaza

GAZA, Oct. 08 YPA) – Al-Qassam Brigades said on Tuesday its fighters detonated an Israeli personnel carrier with a highly explosive device north of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam affirmed in a statement that the operation was card out near the headquarters of the Beitna Foundation, west of the Jabalia camp.

In a separate incident, a Merkava 4 tank was targeted with a Shawaaz explosive device near the Turkish reservoir in the same camp.

In recent days, several military factions, including al-Qassam Brigades and Al-Quds Brigades, announced targeting occupation soldiers and military vehicles in the northern Gaza Strip.

Daily, the occupation launches artillery and air attacks on the northern residential areas, especially Jabalia and Beit Lahia, where dozens of citizens have been killed and hundreds injured, in addition to massive destruction and displacement of families.
