Guterres calls on to end suffering in the Middle East

SANAA, Oct. 06 (YPA) – UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, said that the global community must remain optimistic and work to end the suffering in the Middle East.

He continued, “The United Nations reaffirms its full commitment to achieving these goals, and we must remain optimistic and not lose hope in the midst of this bloodshed and in the face of irreconcilable disputes.”

“Let us honor the memory of the victims, reunite families, and end the suffering and violence throughout the Middle East, and let us continue our efforts to achieve a long-term solution to the conflict so that Israel, Palestine, and all other States in the region can live in peace and dignity, respecting each other,” Guterres added.
