Lebanese Health Ministry: 23 people killed, 93 wounded within 24 hours
BEIRUT, Oct. 06 (YPA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that 23 people were killed and 93 others were injured, in a total toll of victims of Israeli aggression yesterday on the towns and villages of southern Lebanon, Nabataba, the Bekaa, Baalbek-Hermel, Mount Lebanon, and the north.
The Lebanese Health Ministry stated in its statement that the toll was distributed among the regions, according to the following figure:
– Nabatieh Governorate: (9) martyrs and (14) wounded.
– South Governorate: (5) martyrs and (38) wounded.
– Bekaa Governorate: (3) martyrs and (9) wounded.
– Governorate of Mount Lebanon: Martyrs and (30) wounded.
– North Governorate: (4) martyrs.
– Baalbek-Hermel Governorate: Two wounded.
The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression against Lebanon, targeting with violent raids various areas of the south, the Bekaa, and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
In this context, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) confirmed that more than 100 children were killed and 690 others were injured in the Israeli attacks on Lebanon within 11 days.
