Israeli airstrike on Mosque sheltering displaced persons in Deir al-Balah kills 21

GAZA, Oct. 06 (YPA) – At least 21 Palestinian citizens were killed and dozens were injured early Sunday in a new massacre committed by Israeli occupation forces against displaced individuals in the city of Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.

Medical sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a mosque sheltering displaced families near al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

The strike resulted in at least 21 fatalities and numerous injuries among the displaced population, with some children’s bodies arriving at the hospital with severe mutilations and others even beheaded.

Healthcare workers are facing overwhelming challenges, as they try to prioritize treatment for the critically injured while grappling with a severe shortage of medical supplies and medications needed for care.
