IUMS calls for urgent Arab-Islamic summit to stop rampant Israeli madness

DOHA, Sept. 23 (YPA) – Head of the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), Ali Al-Qaradaghi, called for an urgent Arab-Islamic summit to discuss and stop the rampant Israeli madness, which targets not only Gaza and Lebanon, but also extends its impact to all Arab and Islamic capitals and countries.

Al-Qaradaghi stressed in a statement on Monday that Lebanon and the Gaza Strip should not be left “easy prey to this blatant aggression that target the people and the land.

The statement called on the Islamic nation to stand together against what the Prime Minister of the occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, and his “extremist group” are doing.

“What is happening is part of Netanyahu’s policy and of his far-right group to expand Israel to include Al Quds, the West Bank, Gaza, and parts of Lebanon and Jordan,” it warned.

Al-Qaradaghi’s statement continued by saying, “Our disagreement with the partisan policies of some Lebanese or Palestinian parties does not give us the right to support any aggression targeting peoples.” We must not rejoice in the attack on the Lebanese or Palestinian people under any pretext.”

“We must not leave Lebanon or Gaza as easy prey for targeting and division, for the sake of a sectarian or political dispute, as the enemy does not differentiate between Muslims in its genocide against them,” he explained.

Al-Qaradaghi call also on the Islamic and Arab nation to do their duty in the face of Israeli aggression and genocide, affirming that this aggression is a blatant assault, and Muslims and their governments must work to prevent it.
