Partly cloudy weather in parts of Yemen provinces expected

SANAA, Sept. 14 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected partly cloudy weather with scattered rains in parts of the Yemeni provinces.

In its weather bulletin, the center indicated that the scattered rain would prevail over Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma, Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea and Lahj, Dhamar, and Sanaa, in addition to Hodeida, Taiz and Mahra.

It stated that the very strong winds around the Socotra Archipelago, reaching a maximum speed of more than 40 knots, and moderate to active on the eastern and southern coasts.
The center added that the desert areas will be seen clear to partly cloudy, while winds will be moderate in speed, sometimes active, causing dust to rise.

It called on motorists to drive carefully on roads and mountain slopes as a result of poor horizontal visibility due to rainfall and fog.
