About 30 bodies recovered due to floods from heavy rains in Dhamar

DHAMAR, Sept. 03 (YPA) – About 30 bodies were recovered due to floods as a result of the heavy rains that swept various areas of Wasab Al-Safil district of Dhamar province.

Major General Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Muayyad, Head of the Emergency and Flood Damage Treatment Committee, affirmed also that the rescue and ambulance teams managed to rescue nine wounded, explaining that four cars were damaged, four houses were completely destroyed, and 13 houses were partially destroyed.

He added that the inventory and evaluation committees assigned by Dhamar guvnor have been currently worked to inventory the agricultural lands, homes and facilities damaged by the rain floods in the region.
