At least 15 Israeli soldiers killed in one month during ongoing battles in Gaza, Lebanon

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Aug. 29 (YPA) – At least 15 Israeli soldiers have been killed in one month during ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip and at the northern front with Lebanon, Israeli media outlets reported.

The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that August has been the “deadliest” month for Israel during the nearly 11-month-long war on both the Gaza and Lebanon fronts.

The Israeli military confirmed on Wednesday the death of a new soldier from the 932nd Battalion of the elite Nahal Brigade during combat in southern Gaza.

Recently, six funerals were held for Israeli soldiers; five were killed in Gaza due to battles at various combat fronts, and one was killed in the north while aboard a “Dvora” naval boat near Nahariya.

This brings  the number of soldiers killed since the beginning of “Al-Aqsa Flood” to 703, with 339 of these fatalities occurring since the start of ground battles in the Gaza Strip, according to data released by the Israeli authorities.
