OCCUPIED PALESTINE, July 25 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces Thursday demolished a residential apartment in the village of Al-Walaja, northwest of Bethlehem.
Palestinian sources said that an occupation army force, accompanied by bulldozers, stormed the Ain Hweizeh area in the village, and demolished an apartment belonging to local resident Ahmed Samir Abu Khayara.
They explained that the occupation forces demolished the apartment, which was under construction, under the pretext that it was built without a license, adding that it was a second floor of the house of Abu Khayara.
Since the start of the Israel’s comprehensive aggression against Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, and in parallel with the unprecedented destruction of homes, buildings and facilities in the Strip, demolitions of Palestinian citizens’ homes have escalated, especially in Area C, which constitutes about 60 % of the West Bank area.
